New Patients

Alright, you want to become a patient?
Awesome – we’re so excited to meet you!

Your First Visit

Once you’ve scheduled your first appointment, save time by filling out your new patient forms ahead of time via your new patient text or email. Prefer to fill them out on paper or in person? No problem, swing by the office before your first appointment and we can help!

Upon arrival, we will double check to make sure your paperwork is filled out and that we have accurate insurance information, if any. When that’s done, we’ll escort you to your room and get to know you a little better! We’ll take any necessary x-rays, intraoral camera images, and dive into what your needs and goals are. Together we will create a game plan and, if your schedule allows, we can usually get your teeth cleaned and shined up that day as well!

Frequently Asked Questions

My child knocked out a front tooth! What do I do?

Put the tooth in milk (cow, soy, almond, doesn’t matter!). No milk? Water will suffice. Call us immediately so we can get it taken care of right away!

My temporary crown came off! What do I do?

While we do 95% of our crowns the same day, there may be a time that we need to fabricate a temporary crown for you. See if you can line it up with your tooth to get it back on. If you can, place a tiny dab of toothpaste inside the temporary crown and set it back onto your tooth. You may also purchase some temporary cement from the store and set the temporary crown back on with that. Just remember – less is more when it comes to dental materials!

My tooth hurts and my face is swollen! What do I do?

Call us to make an appointment for us to see you! If it’s after hours and you are a patient of record, we may be able to call in an antibiotic for you. The best pain relief for tooth-related pain has been proven to be 800mg of ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin) with 500mg of acetaminophen (Tylenol), alternating them every 4-6 hours.

What procedures do you refer out?

Anything beyond our scope of practice. This may include things like gum grafts, wisdom teeth extractions, and complex root canals. We’re good at doing a lot of cool things but we also know our limits and can get you to the right specialist to help. Trust us, you want experts in your corner!

My tooth doesn’t hurt - why do I need treatment?

Teeth are funny. They don’t tell us something is wrong until something is really wrong. As dentists, a big part of our job is to find these problems before they become BIG problems costing you your comfort, time, money, and energy! Treating that little bit of decay stops it from growing into something more problematic. If that cavity grows, it can lead to needing procedures like root canals and crowns or worse…cause you pain, ruining your holiday or weekend!

Do you take my insurance?

We accept 99% of insurances. We are in-network with some major ones like BCBS, Delta, Ameritas, Metlife, and Guardian. For the ones we are not in network with, YES you can still use your benefits! We are happy to file a claim on your behalf so your insurance can reimburse you according to your plan. By being out of network, we are better able to offer you the full spectrum of possible treatment plans and not be limited by what the insurance company says we can and cannot do.

What if I don’t have insurance?

No worries! We have awesome in-house membership plans and they all include 15% off any treatment you need!

Do you offer payment plans?

Dentistry can be expensive and life happens, we get it. If you’re experiencing financial difficulty, please let us know and we will figure something out!

What happens if I have an emergency?

Knocked out a tooth during an exuberant display of your sweet dance moves? Call our emergency line ASAP! A tooth that has been knocked out has a higher chance of being saved the sooner you get to a dentist!

Are you guys actually weirdly obsessed with teeth?

Maybe. To us, it’s not weird because teeth are so important to our lives! Just imagine what your life would be like without your front teeth to smile with…or your back teeth to chew with…or teeth to talk with! We often don’t think about how important they are until they’re gone so take care of those pearly whites folks!
